In which areas do you expect PostgreSQL to grow most and how does your company contribute to and benefit from that growth?
As PostgreSQL adoption continues to grow, the expectation is that more critical applications will rely on it. In that context high availability and scalability become more important to support the demands of these applications. We have worked with the community on improving the native capabilities of Postgres in replication and scalability and we see that journey as only just starting. As PostgreSQL grows in adoption so does the emphasis on security and we see our historic focus on security positions us as a key partner for organizations willing to embrace this technology, while complying with security and audit policies.
There are other areas of growth like multi-cloud and the so-hyped AI. With multi-cloud, we believe investments being made on HA and scalability are foundational for a true multi-cloud experience combined with an enterprise grade Kubernetes operator. Investing in this area helps us to assist organizations that need the flexibility to operate anywhere. Finally, our approach to AI is pragmatic and we are investing on how to support our clients on their AI journey of, by supporting extensions or by integrating with other market leading solutions in this space.

Just to name a few of our most unique features, Transparent Data Encryption, Data masking, Mirror controller.
Which of your company's contributions to the PostgreSQL Project (code/community/conference/sponsorship) are you most proud of?
We contribute largely to enhancing the logical replication solution. There are various features we have worked on over years but from recent contributions the work related to upgrade of logical replication clusters, slot synchronization, and parallel apply of large transaction are some of our significant contributions. The helps with major version upgrades, high availability, and scalability aspect of PostgreSQL. We also contribute to community development by providing sponsorship to some of the key developer related conferences like PGConf.dev held in Canada and by giving paper presentations at various community conferences including, PGConf NYC (New York), PG Day Chicago, PostgreSQL Conference Germany, PG Day Downunder and PostgreSQL Conference Europe.
