PostgreSQL & AI Summit
Explore the dynamic intersection of PostgreSQL and artificial intelligence! This half-day event brings together developers, engineers, data scientists, and AI enthusiasts to share experiences and insights on building AI-powered applications with PostgreSQL.
About
Topics may include vector search (pgvector) and hybrid search, PostgreSQL as context and tool provider for agentic AI, conversational access to PostgreSQL, tuning PostgreSQL with machine learning, integration strategies, and best practices for AI solution architectures with PostgreSQL. Featuring talks, panel discussions, demos, and plenty of time for open discussions, this collaborative event invites the PostgreSQL community to explore advancements in the AI space and to discuss how PostgreSQL for AI and AI for PostgreSQL are shaping the future of databases and artificial intelligence.
Call For Papers
We're excited to announce the PostgreSQL & AI Summit, a half-day event taking place as part of PGConf.EU’s Community Events Day on October 21, 2025—and we want you to be a part of it!
This summit will bring together practitioners, developers, researchers, and enthusiasts at the intersection of PostgreSQL and AI. We're looking for insightful, practical, and forward-thinking talks that explore how PostgreSQL is being used for AI, such as machine learning, vector search, large language model integration, AI-powered apps, and beyond. But we're also looking for talks about using AI for in creasing the effectiveness, user experience and operations of Postgres. Following is a list of topics as an inspiration for your submissions:
AI for Postgres:
- AI-based operational automation of PostgreSQL
- Conversational Copilots for PostgreSQL
- Text-2-SQL for PostgreSQL
- Integrating unstructured data with PostgreSQL using AI
Postgres for AI:
- AI Search with PostgreSQL (pgvector & beyond)
- AI data prep & vector embedding generation in PostgreSQL
- PostgreSQL-based agentic tools & Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
- Agentic AI application patterns & real-world examples with PostgreSQL
- Conversational analytics & BI with PostgreSQL data
- GPU acceleration for AI in PostgreSQL (e.g., vector indexes & ML on GPUs)
We want to keep the presentations short and crisp and foster interactive discussion afterwards. That's why the talk slots will be limited to 15 minutes each. We will then conduct interactive panel discussions with Q&A with a group of speakers afterwards based on an appropriate group of talk topics.
Please use this Google Form to submit your presentation. Please submit until August 31st, 24:00 Riga, Latvia time.
