Extensions Showcase

One of the great things about Postgres is its extensibility and the range of interesting extensions available. With all that variety, how do you find one that meets your particular needs, let alone get a picture of the entire ecosystem?

Join us for a whistlestop tour of who is extending Postgres, and in what direction.

About

The bar for presenting an extension or utility in a session at PGConf.eu is quite high. Besides the competition for slots, the length of the presentation and the need for at least some novel content can put authors or superusers of extensions off submitting.

This leaves a gap in the available content for newer Postgres users who will not yet have become familiar with the ecosystem. A collection of short, strictly structured, and not necessarily novel presentations on extensions can fill this gap. As a secondary goal, by asking the presenters to answer the same set of questions, we hope to stimulate discussion between extension developers about possible areas of collaboration.

Call For Papers

Do you have a favourite extension, or have you written one? Do you want to talk about it, but feel that you don’t have enough content, or unique enough content to submit a full conference talk? This is your opportunity to give us 15 minutes on your extension.
